We are working on a genre-defining and charts-ruling hit mobile game and are looking for a seasoned and experienced games UX designer to help us elevate the experience to the next level for our players!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Concept, design, wireframe, prototype edit and optimize user flows for our game
  • Work closely with all disciplines within your team, including Art, Engineers, Design, User Research and Analytics to create designs that solve problems
  • Incorporate iterative user and team feedback into the development process
  • Create wireframes and prototypes for testing and communicating your interactive design solutions to key stakeholders and teammates
  • Provide an amazing user experience to our players by determining the information architecture and visual guidelines
  • Conceptualize and create an intuitive, engaging, and consistent user experience
  • Define and implement standards that will help create a consistent, quality experience for players
  • Assisting the Marketing team with user testing and implementing those results in the iterative process
  • Push UX boundaries by exploring the latest emerging trends and designing experiments aimed at discovering innovative solutions
  • Manage stakeholders and collaborate with cross discipline functions

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in designing user experience for games, ideally for mobile (Casual/Mid Core games preferred)
  • Bachelors in Web Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX, Human Computer Interaction or other related fields
  • Up­-to-­date knowledge of the latest trends in UX design and major platform interaction guidelines
  • An portfolio showing case studies of UX work you did on games and how it impacted KPI’s
  • Ability to use a combination of research and personal knowledge of gamer culture to empathize with players, and develop strategies and best practices that are tailored to their needs
  • Ability to animate prototypes that demonstrate UI interactions
  • Ability to understand cross ­platform implementation and technical limitations
  • Ability to work in cross­ functional teams
  • Team player mindset that can operate in a dynamic and iterative environment
  • A self starter with a “get things done” attitude that is characterized by efficient and speedy work practices
  • Love of video games and a passion for game development

We would love to see your latest portfolio that includes at least one ‘breakdown’ of your process, from the original brief, right through to the end result so that our UX Department can best assess the quality of your ability to think and solve problems from a UX perspective (In general, try to focus on showing us your UX skills first and foremost rather than the visualdesign). To help you decide what to include, here are little hints of what we will be looking for.

We are keen to see:

  • Your wireframing process
  • Iterations
  • Documentation/analysis and any user testing findings that led you in your design process
  • The end UX result (if you have any working prototypes, we’d love to see those too!)
